Please keep Bert, a friend of Sean Nesbit's, in your prayers. Bert was wounded while on patrol in Iraq and is currently in the hospital in Germany.
We will be sending a care package to Bert once we get permission from the Army Chaplain's Command at Fort Eustace. If you would like to send a letter or other support item to Bert please let David, Sean or Lynn know and we will share the details with you. Please feel free to pool your resources as well - hopefully we can send Bert and his comrades something to let them know how much we appreciate their service and sacrifice. They, and everyone else like them serving in the line of fire against terrorism, put their lives and bodies on the line every day so that we may live in freedom and safety. By sending them a care package, we at least let them know, in a very small way, how thankful we are for their committment and service.
Please keep Bert, the other members of his unit, and all of our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Aircrew and Coastguard members in your thoughts and prayers as they serve and protect us and and help establish freedom, democracy and justice in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world.

Don't forget that we will meet at 5:40 at the ODU Wesley House to go over to the Park Place Thursday Night Soup Kitchen and Worship Night. We should return to campus by 7:30 or so. For more information call 440-1424.
